When we open Fidelity accounts, do they do hard pull on your credit or soft pull?

Thank you for the info on these combined Fidelity offers. Easy $300.

I think they do soft pulls.

did you sign up the $100 promotion after you opened your smart cash account? when did you transfer the $10k to your smart cash account?

Is there a reason to wait to do the mysamrt cash account $100 deal until the $200 comes in from the first $ 200 account deal? Or is it ok to do both deals/open both accounts at once, then fund the mycash deal as a transfer from the
$200 deal when the funds become available to be transferred in that account?

Second Question: After funding the $10,000 as a pull from a checking account, how then do you transfer back the $10,000 into the checking account? The transfer page at Fidelity is not showing my checking as a "To" account, even after using it as the funding account.

Thanks. Love this deal, keep these ideas coming!

I opened mysmart cash after got the first $200. It might be OK to open them at the same time.

You have to wait 7-10 days before you can see your bank account as a "To" account.

can you please tell us more about step 3. How did you transfer 10K from Investment account to cash account?

FreeMoneyMaker said...

Well, just use the "transfer money/shares" function to transfer between your Fidelity acocunts, the same as between your bank account and fidelity account.

freemoneymaker and others who got the $100 bonus,
How long did it take for you to receive the bonus after you deposited money into the new checking account? Thanks!

3 days or so. It should appear overnight on the third or fourth day.

FreeMoneyMaker said...

Yes, it came pretty soon after the $10k transaction. If you did not get it, just repeat the last 2 steps again.

Hmm... I am the one who asked how long it takes to see the bonus.

Maybe I should call them up and ask about the bonus. I transferred 10k from fidelity investment account to mycash account on Dec. 5th and still don't see any bonus.

Looks like deal is gone. people are getting only 100$.

FreeMoneyMaker said...

Sorry to hear that. Anyone got $200 recently?

Nope, the $100 bonus for mysmartcash is officially gone... My friend signed up and only got a single $100 bonus for the investment account...
